Well you're probably going to want the bloodstained boots to beat enemies to corpses. Maybe tatoos for more energy, it's up to you they have less armor though.
Tip: Calm down on the thread submissions, LOL! |

It depends. If looks matter, quite a few MM's I know go out with their scars just for that reason. In fact, on one of my warriors I got rid of Gladiator's even though I enjoyed the energy gain. It made me want to start singing Y-M-C-A for some reason :-) I like the looks of the scars as well, but you should weigh that in for yourself.
On a side note: bah, don't ban the guy for an accident. Besides, I ddidn't see anything in the guidelines making it bannable (only that duplicate posts/threads would be closed and/or deleted). That's not very novice-friendly if you ban him. That's for the people that come on later and don't realize you two are just kidding/giving him a scare :-) |

Seriously though, I would go with Scars if you dont mind/like the looks. Animate skills take a good bit of energy, youll need all you can get. |

people use scars all the time, but i have to ask.. why? you are sacraficing 10 armor for a slightly larger energy pool, put points in soul reaping people
there will be plenty of dying, and that includes your minions so energy will never be a problem, and the +10 armor from necrotic or tormentors will make you last longer and your teammates will enjoy the knowledge that your minions will not turn on them |

I prefer Necrotic. Simply put, it's a Bad Thing when Minion Masters die. Wear the toughest armor you can.

Tattos if you need more energy if your not as good at managing it, but I would have to say that Necrotics/Fanatics would be a good alternative. (I use necrotics and have little energy issues)
Also Please do not multi post Threads cause it is a good way to get banned thanks Last edited by konohamaru heaven; Feb 17, 2006 at 11:17 PM // 23:17.. |

Go into the Island of the Nameless and kill the practice dummies. With no faster cast mod items equipped, test 100 casts of a minion spell. You'll see that there's no change with the boots on or off. At this point, the only function they serve is aesthetic and to identify the people that believe the hype. |

Whereas wearing scar patterns lends itself to the whole "I think I'm on a beach in Brazil" thing... *shudder* |

All three minion spells are 3 second casts. With the boots on, every minion spell should cast in 2.25 seconds. The boots are not conditional or chance based, so you don't need to raise 100 minions. One cast should be enough to determine their status. |
